Deepwater Access Homes
Deepwater access homes with deepwater docks are very hard to come by in our area. However, the following communities offer limited properties: Sea Pines, Spanish Wells, Blue Heron Point, Hilton Head Plantation and Colleton River (and some homes along the Colleton, Okatie and May Rivers which are off-Island.) Wexford Plantation, Long Cove Club and Windmill Harbour offer marina facilities (and some private docks as well), which provide access to the Atlantic Ocean. Property values for deepwater access homes will generally start @ $1.5 Million. Tidal-creek dock properties offer limited access to deepwater and their prices start @ $700,000.
Private Equity Golf Clubs
Private Equity Golf Clubs are quite prevalent in the Hilton Head area. Private equity golf clubs include: Long Cove and Wexford, and off-Island: Moss Creek, Colleton River, Belfair, and Berkeley Hall. Other private communities have separate private golf memberships available: including The Golf Club at Indigo Run on-Island and Hampton Hall, Oldfield, Palmetto Bluff, Callawassie and Spring Island off-Island.
